Pioneer really never fails you. Though small, this speaker sounds incredibly clean and with a good amplifier reaches some high volumes and still manages to maintain clarity. Great buy! Pioneer all the way!

Will definitely purchase from this seller again; my order was received the day after I ordered it via UPS Ground - thank you! Surprisingly good sound from a 4" dash speaker; did not expect any kind of bass response using my indash Blaupunkt head unit with no external amp but it's better than I expected for cheap money. The snapoff mounting tabs made for a perfect fit in my 84 Mercedes 300d; took less than 20 minutes to install both sides.

For their size, and their price, these speakers represent an unbelievable value. I put a set of these to replace the in dash speakers of my wife's Toyota Echo and they sound amazing. They provide clean and crisp sound, and surprisingly even a little bit of bass. If you're looking for a 4-inch speaker and want something inexpensive, these things will really surprise you. THey even sound better than a few 6.5" speakers that cost double the price...

These speakers were an easy upgrade, and a huge improvement to the stock speakers that had paper cones that had rotten away. To install in the front (in the stock speaker box) you need to break off two of the mounting brakets. The holes don't line up perfectly - about 1/8" short. Just angle the screws in to start and they will straighten out by the time the screw is tight. Hope that makes sense?

These speakers fit the rear speaker mount holes perfectly, but the hole in the stock rear speaker box is 4 1/4". These speakers are 4" in diamater so the speaker did not seal off the speaker box opening like it should. I left the stock speakers in since they were not rotted out. There does not appear to be an easy direct replacement speaker for the rear speakers.
