Great performance at a great price is what you can expect from PowerBass's S Series S-402 4-Inch mount coaxial speakers. The 2-layer cone has been treated with DDC (Dynamic Damping Coating) for rich sound and reduced distortion while adding ultraviolet protection. A low profile 0.075-Inch silk dome tweeter is used to deliver accurate treble reproduction, just like the tweeters found in high end home systems. Drop-in replacement allows OEM fit in most factory locations, making these the perfect choice for an inexpensive sonic upgrade to your current car audio system or simply replace worn out speakers. The complete kit includes mesh wire grills, speaker wire, mounting hardware, application guide and PowerBass decal.

I just purchased these speakers and installed in my old Saab to replace the antique Harman Kardon worn out paper cone types front dash speakers. WOW! What a refreshing difference! Not quite the volume that I'm used to, but the sound is soo soo much cleaner, and crisper. The mids and highs are wonderful. I get the bass from the rear speakers, so it's no problem there is no bass whatsoever from these speakers, but what you want up front is the clean clear crisp sound that the Powerbase 4" provides. The bass is filled from the rear. The sound in my car is now rich and fulfilling. For the price, it's a must buy!
